Now that you’re into the Notion ecosystem, we’d like to share the digital organizational method that we use at TAOHOUSE and highly suggest to almost anyone, even those who have tried other systems like Evernote or Trello. This is the PARA method, written about by Tiago Forte, and we’re sharing a little quick-start here.
One of the key pillars of our practice is organization. We uses the PARA method because it helps you get organized in a truly powerful way. Instead of forcing you into rigid boxes, PARA instead helps you align with what truly fascinates and energizes you.
Instead you put things into one of 4 master folders: Projects, Areas, Resources, and Archive. You’ll learn more about each of these as you dig a bit deeper.
It's a simple system once you understand it: take all the interesting ideas and information that naturally swirls around you, harness it, and put it in it’s place.
It doesn't take unrealistic self-discipline—once you build it out, PARA helps you to create momentum naturally around your true priorities and passions. The system helps you focus on what truly matters to you right now, and that's where the magic happens. You’ll dive into your inspirations, keep track of necessities, and see a reflection of the life you’re building.
We’re here to put things in order so that we can move forward with crafting our lives and making magic. Get organized in a way that unleashes your creative power and steadily make the meaningful work you were meant to.
